Custom Cutting, OUR place or Yours.

Custom Cutting: With our Woodmizer LT 50 wide head with Accuset Works Electronic Programming we are able to turn your logs into lumber at our location or yours. We will cut to your specifications and can also cut dimensional lumber, quarter sawn lumber, and live edge slabs, as well as cookies and other specialized cuts. Our mill can cut logs up to 21’ in length and 36” in diameter (at the largest end). We do have an extension for our mill that allows us to cut a log up to 33’ in length at our location (special pricing applies for this). We can also sometimes cut logs that are greater than 36” in diameter. We would be happy to discuss your individual situation with you.

How does it work?

We prefer that you are present when we mill your lumber. This allows us to talk to you about how to get the most yield from your logs for your intended project. You bring your logs, we cut them, and then put them right back on your trailer so you can take them home the same day. Of course, if you wish to drop your logs off for processing at a later time without you, we are happy to do this as well. In either event we will cut the logs according to your direction.

When cutting is done at your home, we need an area where the logs can be staged for easy loading and unloading on the mill. The logs do need to be free of dirt and debris. You also need to provide 2 or 3 strong workers to help move the boards off the mill and stack them.
