Aaron Cross and the start of Crosscut Lumber…
Crosscut Lumber has grown over the years to include not only sawmilling services, but also kiln drying, lumber planing, and lumber processing. In 2017, Aaron’s wife Beth also joined the Crosscut team. The business upgraded again in 2018 when they purchased a Woodmizer LT50 Hydraulic Wide Head Sawmill with Accuset Works. Not just a sawmill, Crosscut Lumber also turns lumber into flooring, siding, wainscoting, and trim with their four headed planer moulder. They’ve also built custom bar tops and counters.
Aaron and Beth operate from their 100 acre farm in Portland, MI but the portable sawmill can be transported easily for lumber cutting at a customer’s home.
