CrossCut Lumber began in 2008 and is owned by Aaron and Beth Cross. Aaron’s interest in sawmilling began after he helped his father-in-law harvest ash trees from the family farm. He used his share of the lumber to remodel a 60-foot porch on the front of the home he and Beth had built. When Aaron got a turn running the sawyer’s mill he was hooked and within a few years he had his own mill and CrossCut Lumber was born.
“I love working with customers to help them turn their woodworking ideas into reality. With my experience I’m able to help them get the best use out of their logs, often turning their own lumber into a part of their home. If I’m not at the mill, I’m with some of my family helping with remodeling projects in their homes (and in mine).”
